Meet Our Program Assistant, Svetlana

As an educator, I believe that a classroom built on love, compassion, and understanding is essential for helping children develop into strong, resilient individuals. Coming from Ukraine, I place a high priority on fostering a sense of security and acceptance within the classroom. When I am not working with my students, I find peace by the water and enjoy staying current on child development research through podcasts. I find working with children deeply transformative; their presence allows me to reflect on my own growth and stay mindful, creating a healthy, 'cleansing' environment where both the teacher and the students can flourish together.
